Preparation of a novel zeolite Y-stainless-steel wire mesh honeycomb for VOC capture

Zeolite-based honeycomb rotors have been successfully used for VOC capture in various industries due to advantages of low pressure drop, fast response temperature swing desorption and outstanding adsorption characteristics. However, the high cost fragile nature ultrathin ceramic fiber paper assembling carrier created issues its commercial applications. Herein, a novel based on stainless-steel wire mesh was constructed zeolite Y particles fibers were attached via dip-coating method. The obtained coated exhibited mechanical strength, easy processability uniform, tunable coating. iso-propanol this Y-stainless-steel systematically studied performance, comparable with granular sorbents rotor, realized honeycomb. not only simplified preparation but also led lower higher durability.
